Yachad will get together at the Loony Bin, for a night of laughter, with Jewish comedian Mark Klein, on Thursday, June 1 Doors open at 7:00 pm for a "Meet & Greet" before the 8:00 pm comedy show. The club is now located at 215 N. St. Francis St.

This high-energy, stand-up show is a lively tour through bourbon, horseracing, family, and freedom. It has a point of view you won't get from Hollywood or New York, presented in the ideal place to laugh and have a good time!

Mark Klein is a native of Louisville, Kentucky. This Colgate University graduate (B.A. English-let this be a warning to your children) as been making laughter his living for 30 years. He began his career as a stand-up comedian in comedy clubs from Alaska to Florida, headlining top rooms across the country. Mark expanded his schedule to include corporate and cruise ship entertainment. His performance calendar now comprises shows in venues ranging from special events to dinner theaters to comedy clubs. Mark has appeared on A&E, Comedy Central, Showtime and CBS.

Mark, who is married and has a son, is also a Thoroughbred racehorse owner, real estate investor, writer, bourbon aficionado, and the official walker of the dumbest dog in the world.

You are responsible for purchasing your own ticket! The show is $8 per person, but it's Ladies' Night so there is no charge for ladies. It is highly recommended that you purchase your ticket in advance to assure admittance. You can buy them online here or if available that night, you can purchase them at the door. The club is 18 to enter, 21 to drink. Food & beverages will be available for purchase.

For those who are not too familiar with Yachad, it's the Mid-Kansas Jewish Federation's "outreach group" that is made up of singles, pairs, empty-nesters, newcomers, long-time members, friends of friends...you name it, we've got it!

The group is open to ANYONE who wants to get together in a casual setting for a connection to our COMMUNITY! Bring a friend or meet a new one for this special event!
